Student Test Booking Updates

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our office is currently working individually with students to coordinate exam arrangements for students participating in in-person courses. For this reason, we have temporarily disabled the ‘Test Appointment Booking’ feature in Accommodate. In-person exams at ODS will depend upon the safety guidelines of the CDC, Miami-Dade County, and University policies. Our office will be available to proctor exams for in-person exams in a limited capacity.

  • If you are participating in any courses where exams are taking place in-person, you may contact ODS at so we can help your coordinate your exams. Please include the following information in your email
    • Course number and section
    • Professor's name
    • All exam dates/times you are requesting. Please note our seating times are limited to 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
  • Each exam request will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Final approval is subject to ODS availability and professor approval.
  • Exams must be booked at least 7 days in advance of the exam.
  • Students registered in hybrid or online courses will take exams online. Arrangements for extended time are coordinated with the professor. Students should review course syllabi and speak with faculty regarding exams well in advance. Extended time for online exams can be managed through Blackboard or in coordination with the faculty member.

If you have any questions about your accommodations, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office at We are here to support you through this time of transition and are happy to help you navigate any questions or concerns you may have.
